Beloved for his witty, raspy voice through frequent performances broadcasted in TV and around the world, Kong Nay became blind because of smallpox at the age of four. Kong Nay became a CLA Master in 2003. He has now retired. He plays Chapei Dang Weng, a long neck 2-stringed guitar played in traditional songs as well as in improvised pieces with satirical, rhyming verses.
